2. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains which personal data we collect when you visit our online shop, sign up for drop notifications, place an order or contact us, how we use it, and which rights you have. We process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German data protection laws.
3. Data we collect
3.1 When you visit our website
When you visit resque4me.com, technical data is processed automatically, such as IP address, date and time of access, browser type, operating system, referring website and pages visited. This is necessary to display the website and to ensure its security.

3.2 When you place an order
To process your order we collect: name, billing and shipping address, email address, phone number (if provided), order details and payment information (payment data is processed directly by the payment provider, we do not see full card details).
We use this data to conclude and fulfil the contract, process payment, ship your order, handle returns and communicate with you about your order.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (performance of a contract) and Art. 6(1)(c) GDPR (legal obligations, e.g. tax and accounting).
3.3 Customer account
If you create an account, we store your login data and order history so you can access them.

3.4 Drop notifications, newsletter and our game
You can sign up for drop notifications and our newsletter, for example via our website or our online game. We then use your email address to send you information about drops, new products and offers.
Legal basis: your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, e.g. via the unsubscribe link in every email or by emailing us.
We may evaluate whether our emails are opened and which links are clicked in order to improve our emails.

If you contact us by email or via a contact form, we process the data you provide in order to answer your request.

5. Service providers and recipients
We share personal data only where necessary with the following categories of recipients:

Payment providers: depending on the payment method you choose, e.g. Shopify Payments / Stripe Payments Europe Ltd. (Dublin, Ireland), PayPal (Europe) S.à r.l. et Cie, S.C.A. (Luxembourg), Klarna Bank AB (Stockholm, Sweden). These providers process your payment data under their own privacy policies.
Fulfilment and shipping: our fulfilment partner and the respective shipping companies receive your name, shipping address and, if required for delivery notifications, your email address or phone number. Products may be produced and shipped from outside the EU.
Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (Facebook/Instagram), Merrionstreet Dublin 2, D02 X525, Ireland: if you have consented, we use the Meta Pixel to measure the effectiveness of our ads and to show relevant ads on Facebook and Instagram, including to people who visited our shop or signed up for our drops. Email service: we use the email functions of our shop system (and, if applicable, an email marketing provider) to send order and drop emails.
We do not sell your personal data.
6. Transfers to countries outside the EU/EEA
Some of our service providers process data outside the EU/EEA, in particular in the USA and Canada. Such transfers are based on an adequacy decision of the European Commission (e.g. the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified companies) or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.
7. Retention
We store personal data only as long as necessary for the respective purpose. Order and invoice data is retained for up to 10 years due to statutory retention obligations under German commercial and tax law. Data for newsletters and drop notifications is stored until you unsubscribe. Website log data is deleted after a short period, unless it is needed to investigate security incidents.
